Cookie Policy
Information about the cookies and local storage items used on our website.
This Cookie Policy has been prepared to inform you about the cookies and similar local storage technologies used on the Fayntech website (fayntech.tr).
1. What Is a Cookie?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device via your browser when you visit a website. They are commonly used for purposes such as maintaining your session, ensuring security and remembering your preferences. In addition to cookies, your browser's localStorage and sessionStorage areas may store small pieces of data for similar purposes.
2. Cookies and Storage Items We Use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| laravel_session | Strictly necessary (cookie) | Maintaining your session and enabling the basic functions of the site. | Session |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Strictly necessary (cookie) | Security — protection against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) in form submissions. | Session |
| theme | Preference (localStorage) | Remembering your light/dark appearance preference. | Until deleted |
| fy-veil | Functional (sessionStorage) | Displaying the page transition animation smoothly. | Until the tab is closed |
| fy-consent | Preference (localStorage) | Remembering your choice on the cookie notice banner. | Until deleted |
3. No Analytics or Advertising Cookies
Our website does not use analytics, advertising, marketing or third-party tracking cookies. All items listed in the table above are either strictly necessary for the service to function, or appearance/preference records that are stored only on your device and are not transmitted to us. Your visit to our site therefore does not lead to profiling by third parties.
4. How Can You Manage Cookies?
You can view, delete or block cookies at any time through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
If strictly necessary cookies are blocked, some basic functions such as form submission may not work.
5. Withdrawing Your Consent
To change or withdraw the choice you made on the cookie banner, simply delete the fy-consent record from your browser's site data (localStorage) section; the notice banner will be shown again on your next visit. You can also reset your appearance preference by deleting the theme record in the same section.
